Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment are working with a specialist steels & metals business to recruit a Draftsperson for their site near Sheffield.
Working within the Project Design team, you’ll be producing drawings for various site upgrade and machinery installation projects within a heavy manufacturing environment.
The Role: * Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Work closely with Engineers and cross-functional teams to develop designs, resolve issues, and ensure projects meet required standards
* Create material lists and bills of materials for procurement and manufacturing
* Maintain drawing records and documentation to ensure accuracy and traceability
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal quality procedures
* Develop a solid understanding of company processes and products to continuously improve drawing accuracy and efficiency
The Person: * Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
* Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and engineering standards
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
* Confident problem solver with a practical mindset
* Good communication and collaboration skills
* Competent with MS Office and general CAD-related tools
