We’re working with a leading provider of high-quality residential living accommodation in the UK. Our client has built a strong reputation for creating safe, supportive, and well-managed communities, with over two decades’ experience delivering exceptional living environments. They’re committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative workplace where employees can thrive.
They are now looking to recruit a National Health & Safety Manager to lead all H&S matters across their UK operations. You’ll ensure policies, procedures, training, and systems are in place and followed, driving a culture of safety while providing pragmatic, commercially-focused solutions.
Responsibilities
*Lead and manage all aspects of Health & Safety across UK operations
*Develop, maintain, and implement H&S policies, procedures, and risk assessments
*Work closely with leadership and regional teams to embed best practice and compliance
*Chair the UK Health & Safety Committee, analysing trends and reporting to senior leadership
*Ensure statutory compliance and continuous improvement in H&S standards
*Provide professional, commercially-focused advice and practical solutions
Skills & Experience
*NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and membership of a professional body such as IOSH
*Significant H&S experience within residential living or property environments
*Strong commercial and financial awareness
*Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
*Ability to produce high-quality reports, policies, and procedures
*Pragmatic problem-solver with outstanding decision-making skills
*Competent with IT systems and compliance platforms, including Office 365
