This is a Senior Accounts Assistant role with a growing business that’s been expanding fast. Growth brings opportunity… and a few messy integrations. You’ll be the person who makes sense of it all. You’ll have the freedom to get stuck in, spot what’s broken, and fix it properly. Not with sticky tape, but with systems that actually work.
What you’ll be doing
*Taking over transactional finance
*Processing purchase and sales invoices, VAT returns, supplier payments and bank reconciliations
*Running the payroll
*Posting month-end journals and pulling together management information
*Keeping an eye on short-term cashflow and helping with year-end prep
*Supporting integration of the new business into group finance processes
*Helping automate and streamline how things are done
*Working alongside the finance director and finance manager
What you’ll bring
*Solid experience as a Senior Accounts Assistant
*Strong Excel skills
*A hands-on approach, happy to roll your sleeves up but sharp enough to think strategically
*The ability to hit the ground running, stay organised and communicate well
*Bonus points if you’ve handled system migrations or digital transformation projects
