Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Connected Persons Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Complete viability assessments, Form C fostering assessments, and Special Guardianship reports for connected carers
*Provide supervision and guidance to approved connected carers, ensuring they meet fostering standards
*Hold a caseload of complex cases, including those within the Public Law Outline (PLO) process
*Liaise with legal teams, fostering services, and other professionals to secure timely permanency for children
*Prepare analytical reports for court and panels, ensuring high standards and compliance with fostering regulations
*Contribute to team learning, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and promoting best practice
*Ensure all work prioritizes child safety and wellbeing, adhering to statutory guidance and local policies
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
