VAT Senior Manager | £70,000 - £85,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced VAT Senior Manager to join a growing, international business providing VAT advisory and compliance services to a diverse client base across multiple jurisdictions.
The role will play a key part in supporting the business and its clients on complex domestic and cross-border VAT matters, overseeing the VAT compliance cycle, and ensuring technical excellence and process efficiency across all VAT activities.
The Role
As VAT Senior Manager, you’ll take ownership of a broad portfolio of work covering VAT advisory, compliance, and reporting.
You will:
*Lead and deliver VAT advisory support on complex transactions and business activities.
*Oversee VAT compliance, return submissions, and month-end reporting.
*Manage VAT audits, HMRC enquiries, and process improvements.
*Monitor legislative changes and advise senior stakeholders on their impact.
*Support international operations and onboarding of new entities.
*Develop and mentor junior team members, driving high performance and continuous improvement.
About You
We’re looking for a technically strong VAT professional with the ability to work across both compliance and advisory areas.
*Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent).
*Proven experience in VAT compliance and advisory roles.
*Strong understanding of VAT accounting and reporting processes.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Strong systems knowledge (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Excel).
*Able to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
