About the Position:
Join native as a Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in transforming the student marketplace! Start Date: Flexible
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - minimum 3 days per week in the office.
What You’ll Do:
*Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities within the media sales sector.
*Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to uncover potential clients.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration.
*Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans that align with company goals.
*Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that resonate with clients.
*Negotiate contracts and terms that meet both client and company expectations.
*Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports using Salesforce to inform leadership.
*Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, attending events to represent native.
What You Bring:
*Minimum of 2-3 years of proven BDM experience with a track record of closing sales and achieving revenue targets.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with Marketing Directors and other stakeholders.
*Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills that lead to successful outcomes.
*Ability to build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships at a national brand level.
*Self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
*Proficiency in using CRM and sales software to manage client interactions effectively.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
*Experience in media sales and/or event sales, particularly within the student market.
*Strong understanding of the media landscape, advertising & events industry, and Gen Z audiences.
*Experience guiding and mentoring assigned SDRs to generate pipeline.
Experience Required:
*Minimum of 2-3 years of BDM experience in media sales or a related field.
