Tax Specialist
*Annual Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
*Location: Stevenage
*Job Type: Full-time
REED Practice are recruiting for a well-established Accountancy Practice who are looking to grow their tax team. You will work on a diverse client portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses (OMBs), small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and large corporate entities. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling both personal and corporate tax matters.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Prepare personal and corporate tax returns accurately and efficiently.
*Communicate effectively with HMRC and clients to resolve tax-related queries and issues.
*Assist senior colleagues with tax planning and compliance projects, contributing to team objectives.
*Maintain organised records and databases to ensure information is accessible and up to date.
*Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimal service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*ATT or AAT part/fully qualified (or equivalent experience).
*Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a UK-based tax role covering both personal and corporate tax.
*Proficiency in using a range of tax and accounting software.
*A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax issues in clear terms.
