Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Energy Manager / Energy Analyst to support our growing portfolio of energy reduction and monitoring solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing kWh consumption, validating project performance under IPMVP standards, and delivering insightful, client-facing reports that demonstrate verified energy and carbon savings. Key Responsibilities for Energy Manager / Energy Analyst
*Analyse energy consumption (kWh) data and identify verified savings opportunities from installed projects.
*Deliver IPMVP-qualified savings reports detailing energy, financial, and CO reductions achieved through energy reduction technologies.
*Manage and maintain energy monitoring platforms, ensuring accurate monthly client reporting.
*Collaborate with the Projects Team during the transition from installation to live monitoring.
*Support the Sales Team by providing data-driven evidence for pilot projects and national rollout proposals.
*Produce clear, client-ready reports showcasing measurable energy and cost savings.
*Stay informed of industry developments and emerging trends in the energy efficiency and net-zero space.
Skills and Qualifications for Energy Manager / Energy Analyst
*Education: Degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
*Experience: Previous experience in an energy, utilities, or sustainability role (e.g., Energy Analyst, Carbon Consultant).
*Technical Skills: Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities; experience with energy monitoring platforms preferred.
*Analytical Abilities: Ability to interpret consumption data and translate it into actionable insights.
*Communication: Excellent report writing and presentation skills to clearly communicate technical results.
*Organisation: Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
*Teamwork: Collaborative and proactive, working closely with both the Projects and Sales Teams.
*Passion for Energy: Genuine interest in sustainability, carbon reduction, and energy efficiency.
