Marks Sattin is partnering with a leading international business to recruit a Junior Accounts Assistant focused on Accounts Payable. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their finance career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
No experience is necessary, but some experience would be beneficial!
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function. You’ll be responsible for processing invoices, managing supplier queries, and supporting payment runs, all while gaining hands-on experience in a global finance team.
Key Responsibilities *Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately
*Match purchase orders and delivery notes to invoices
*Assist with weekly payment runs and manual payments
*Maintain supplier records and resolve queries
*Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies
*Support VAT coding and documentation
*Help with setting up new supplier accounts
*Provide general admin support to the finance team
*Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks and projects
About You *AAT Level 2 or 3 (or working towards)
*Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
*Confident communicator and team player
*Comfortable using Excel and accounting systems (SAP/Sage experience is a bonus)
*Eager to learn and grow within a finance function
