Job Title: Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Dukinfield, Tameside
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper will be:
*Record, process, and reconcile supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
*Ensure timely and accurate payment of supplier accounts
*Create and issue customer invoices in line with agreed terms
*Manage CIS returns and maintain accurate associated records
*Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirements
*Carry out daily banking and bank reconciliations
*Oversee general bookkeeping and maintain organised financial records
*Provide financial support and insight to the company director and site teams
*Assist with payroll preparation and processing as required
Profile
*Proven experience in a similar accounts role within the construction sector
*Comfortable working in an SME business
*Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts
*Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
*Knowledge of CIS is essential
*Experience with payroll is desirable, but not essential
Job Offer
* Competitive salary £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)
* Full-time, office-based role (40 hours per week, 8:00am - 4:30pm) with flexibility on hours
* 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
* Study support and annual performance appraisals
