The newly-established Head of Finance (8C) will play a key role in supporting a vital Care Group. This is a critical position, supporting the Trust’s strategy to deliver outstanding health outcomes and patient and staff experience.
Reporting to the Assistant Director – Finance Management, responsibilities include:
*Being accountable for the development of true business partnering within the assigned care group and corporate areas
*Developing long-term productive relationships with the care group leadership whilst acting as a trusted advisor, influencing strategic decision making for the responsible portfolio
*Advising Senior Managers on complex business cases, and ensuring advice is consistent across the financial management department to enable the development of a one trust approach
*Being the senior line manager for the relevant Care Group / Corporate Financial Management Team and provide strong leadership across the team
The successful candidate:
*CCAB qualification with significant Post Qualification experience
*Significant knowledge of the leadership and management context of the NHS, with a proven track record of developing teams
*Ability to build and develop influential relationships at a corporate stakeholder level
*Ability to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust’s "We are here for you" behavioural standards
