Finance Assistant
Temporary - Immediate Start
Location: Bolton
Full-time, temporary (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)


We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a busy Finance Department on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience to contribute to a professional and friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintain purchase ledgers, process invoices and ensure accurate financial coding and authorisation.
*Prepare and process BACS payment runs and reconcile supplier statements.
*Manage billing and credit control for specific services
*Assist with the billing and other miscellaneous charges.
*Process petty cash, staff expenses and credit card transactions.
*Provide regular financial reports to budget holders and assist with queries.
*Support other members of the finance team as required.
About You
*Experience working in a finance or accounts role.
*Confident with purchase ledger and billing processes.
*Strong numerical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
*Proficient in using finance systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
*Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
This is a temporary position requiring an immediate start. Applicants must be available to work full-time hours (35 hours per week)
