Elevation Recruitment Group’s Skilled Shop Floor Team is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Plymouth. We are currently supporting the business in their search for a Stores Controller on a permanent basis.

This role is to perform the administration, control and housekeeping of the stores area to ensure goods in are efficiently booked in and made available to the relevant company departments and that goods out are accurately and timely dispatched according to the
delivery plan.

Key Duties:
*Receiving all deliveries and checking that the documentation of goods received matches the items received.
*Liaising with procurement department about deliveries and discrepancies in stock.
*Updating inventory management systems via delivery notes.
*Picking, delivering and dispatching goods by using a forklift.
*Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it.
*Understand the packing & completion of company picklists following the correct process
*Perform other duties as required.
Experience Required:
*Knowledge of stock movement is desirable. Previous experience of performing the role or a similar role is highly desirable.
*Excellent communication skills to develop positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders (i.e. transport providers).
*Forklift trained with current license (ideally certified to operate both Forklifts (OKM & Aislemaster)
*Ensures Health and Safety and corporate requirements are adhered to and maintained.
*Basic level of IT literacy to be able to operate ERP system (Insight 123) to perform Stores functions and respond to emails.
*Proactive and positive attitude to ensure role is fulfilled to high standard with some flexibility to cover peaks in workload and other tasks as reasonably requested by line manager.
