Business Development Executive - B2B Conferences & Events
Central London Office
Base Salary up to £35,000+Commission+Benefits

Join an established B2B events company as a Business Development Executive. This company produces high-profile business conferences for a range of industries, including finance, transport, tech and more. Their large-scale events attract thousands of senior business leaders and are held in great venues around the world.
The Role – Business Development Executive B2B Events
As a Business Development Executive, you will focus on selling sponsorship opportunities to innovative and fast-growing businesses. You’ll work as part of a dynamic and supportive events and sales team, gaining valuable experience, honing your sales skills, and progressing your career in a thriving environment.
Your role will include:
*Planning and delivering your business development strategy
*Selling sponsorship opportunities to businesses – cold outreach is needed, along with the ability to maximise warm business and new leads.
*Developing and growing relationships with clients.
*Pitch exhibition opportunities to decision makers, promoting the benefits and value of sponsoring the event and finding a package that’s right for them
*Working to agreed revenue targets, KPIs and deadlines
*Keeping the CRM updated
*Working as part of the wider events team to maximise all opportunities and make the event as successful as possible
*Attending your events, meeting clients and building relationships
What experience & skills are we looking for?
*Educated to degree level
*Ideally, 6+ months of b2b sales experience, perhaps you’ve worked in recruitment, media sales, IT sales and are looking to join the events industry.
*Strong & confident communication skills – spoken & written
*A self-starter able to plan your time and deliver tasks independently
*Able to work as part of a team with a responsible approach to work
*Solutions focused and positive attitude to work
*Great IT skills and willingness to learn
