Job Description:
Refuge & Dispersed Accommodation Practitioners (Part-Time, 2 Roles) Leicester | Temp to Perm | £26,421 pro rata | ? 17.5 hrs/week (3 days)
We’re looking for two compassionate and experienced practitioners to join our Safe Accommodation team in Leicester. One role is based in a Refuge, and the other supports clients in Dispersed Accommodation. Both positions involve providing practical and emotional support to people affected by domestic abuse, helping them to rebuild their lives in a safe, stable environment.
Key Responsibilities * Provide one-to-one support and safety planning for clients
* Manage referrals and maintain accurate, confidential case records
* Work closely with housing, health, and welfare agencies
* Carry out regular property and safety checks
* Ensure all accommodation is safe, well-maintained, and welcoming
* Keep monitoring data and reports accurate and up to date
What You’ll Bring * Experience supporting vulnerable individuals (domestic abuse or housing experience preferred)
* Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills
* Knowledge of safeguarding and tenancy management
* Empathy, resilience, and the ability to work independently
Hours: 17.5 per week (Refuge: Mon–Fri / Dispersed: Mon–Wed)
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
Must hold a valid driving licence and pass a DBS check
