The company began as a UK-based manufacturer, and still operates its original factory in the same region, producing high-quality cotton garments. Over time it has expanded into a full lifestyle wardrobe offering for both men and women, with a presence of permanent stores in major cities and global distribution through luxury retailers and online channels.
Description
*Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support business decisions.
*Oversee budget preparation and forecasting to ensure financial targets are met.
*Provide financial insights and reports to assist in strategic planning.
*Manage accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate cost management.
*Support year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
*Enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Profile
*Holds a recognised accounting qualification (such as ACCA, CIMA or AAT) and demonstrates a commercial understanding of business operations.
*Proven experience in a comparable or larger-scale business environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
*Solid grounding in financial accounting principles and reporting standards, with proficiency in key finance systems and data-analysis tools.
*Confident communicator, capable of clearly presenting complex financial information to a variety of stakeholders.
