About the Role
As a Graduate Finance Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across a range of responsibilities. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and wider team to manage accounts receivable, prepayments, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Invoice Management: Generate and issue invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and resolve discrepancies.
*Prepayments & Accruals: Process and reconcile prepayments and accruals, supporting month-end and year-end close.
*Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform regular account reconciliations and assist in preparing financial reports.
*Month-End Support: Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate financial records.
The Successful Candidate will have the Following
*A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
*A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
*AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications (or working towards) are desirable.
