Job Description:
Our client, a leading company in the T&D sector, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves being on site five days a week, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities: *Implementing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures
*Conducting regular safety inspections and audits on site
*Identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective measures
*Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
*Providing training and guidance to staff on health and safety best practices
*Investigating accidents and incidents, and preparing detailed reports
*Collaborating with management to continuously improve safety standards
*Maintaining accurate records of health and safety activities
Job Requirements: *Experience in health and safety management within the T&D sector
*Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective measures
*Proficiency in preparing and maintaining health and safety documentation
*Experience in training staff on health and safety practices
*Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
*Relevant health and safety qualifications or certifications
