Job Title: Junior Credit Controller
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Location: Office-based (5 days per week)
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and reliable Credit Controller to join our finance team. This role is well-suited to someone who is keen to learn, develop new skills, and build a long-term career within credit control. Full training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in managing the credit control process to ensure timely payments

* Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve queries and follow up on outstanding invoices

* Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems

* Support with payment allocation and account reconciliations

* Provide administrative support to the Finance team as required

* Contribute to improving processes and maintaining a positive team environment

Skills & Attributes
* Strong communication skills and a professional manner

* Attention to detail with good organisational skills

* Comfortable working with numbers and financial information

* Confident using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel

* Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

* Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
