Job Description:
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus up to 25% (based on performance and book growth)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, full-time)


An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join a leading independent brokerage in Manchester. You’ll manage a portfolio of established corporate clients while driving new business opportunities, working within a collaborative and professional environment where client service and growth go hand in hand.


Key Responsibilities:
As Senior Account Executive, you’ll take ownership of key client relationships and play an active role in expanding your portfolio.
*Managing and developing relationships with existing corporate clients.
*Identifying and winning new business opportunities.
*Leading renewals, preparing presentations, and ensuring client needs are fully met.
*Advising clients on cover options and programme design.
*Collaborating with internal teams across Claims, Risk Management, and Employee Benefits.
*Overseeing client remuneration, credit control, and accurate record management via Acturis.


Requirements:
You’ll be a confident, commercially minded professional with strong technical expertise and a proven record in client management.
*Significant experience within corporate insurance broking.
*Strong knowledge of general commercial lines and the wider market.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
*Motivated, proactive, and results driven.
*Working knowledge of Acturis.
*Cert CII qualification (essential); Dip CII is desirable.
