Job Description:
An international luxury fabric and wallcoverings business is recruiting for a Marketing and Events Executive to join their busy marketing department. The company has experienced huge success over recent years and continues to grow. This makes an exciting opportunity to join the marketing team in a pivotal role. The Marketing and Events Executive will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of customer and press events — from intimate lunches and luxury fabric / wallcovering product launches to panel discussions and multi-stakeholder showcases. Provide day-to-day marketing support across presentations, PR, licensing, trade shows, and general brand activity.
The role will involve:
Planning, organising, and delivering a wide range of customer events, press launches, talks, panel discussions, and dinners/lunches to the highest standard and within a pre agreed budget.
Managing logistically complex events and showcases for product, licensing and partnerships involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution.
Supporting the Marketing Director with: Creation and formatting of presentations, sourcing fabric / textile / wallcovering images, information, and product samples, post-event follow-up and reporting, general marketing tasks associated with licensing, PR, trade shows, and customer events including collation of images, assets and copy, liaison with third parties, organisation of deliveries, couriers etc.
Maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships to deliver best-in-class experiences.
Overseeing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning without compromising quality.
Contributing to the wider marketing calendar with fresh ideas and proactive input.
The company requires the Events and Marketing Executive to possess a formal marketing qualification such as CIM or IDM or equivalent. Along with this is the requirement to have gained experience in a previous event management position in the luxury interiors, lifestyle or fashion industries.
A competitive basic salary is on offer along with 25 days holiday a year plus public holidays, along with an option to purchase up to an additional 5 days per year, company pension. 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
