Forklift Driver – Chilled WarehouseHours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 on a rotating shift pattern
Shift Times: Multiple start times from 05:00
Overtime: Paid at 1.25x standard rate after 40 hours
M4 Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected food production business based in Tewkesbury. We are seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy and expanding Chilled Warehouse team.
In this varied and hands-on role, you will work across multiple areas including the factory floor, chilled warehouse, and loading bays – ensuring goods are moved, stored, and loaded safely, efficiently, and accurately.
You’ll work closely with warehouse leaders and supervisors, supporting the smooth flow of operations. The site operates a modern fleet of electric forklift trucks with advanced safety features, and the warehouse itself is a state-of-the-art chilled facility opened in 2025.
Key Responsibilities*Safely operate forklifts to transport, load, and unload goods
*Assist with order picking, stock rotation, and replenishment
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment
*Comply with food hygiene and health & safety standards
*Support loading and unloading of vehicles when required
About You*Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within the last 3 years)
*Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
*Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
*Reliable, positive, and able to work flexibly to meet operational needs
*Good numeracy and understanding of health & safety best practices
*Experience within the food or dairy industry is advantageous but not essential
