Prospero Teaching are excited to offer two part-time Learning Mentor roles (10 hours per week each) in Horsham, supporting young people to re-engage with mainstream education and build confidence, self-esteem, and positive adult relationships.
Role details:
*Hours: 10 hours per week per role (apply for one or both!)
*Schedule: Flexible timings, Monday to Friday within school hours.
*Location: Horsham
About you:
*Education professionals with experience working with learners with SEN and SEMH needs.
*Ability to adapt tasks, activities, and learning to meet individual needs.
*Passion for helping secondary-aged students (specific ages to be confirmed) with EHCPs achieve their potential.
As a Learning Mentor, you will: *Support young people in re-engaging with mainstream education and developing essential life skills.
*Help learners build confidence, self-esteem, and positive relationships with adults.
*Adapt tasks, activities, and learning approaches to meet individual needs, ensuring inclusivity and progress.
*Work closely with students who have EHCPs and SEN/SEMH needs, providing tailored support.
*Foster a safe, encouraging environment that promotes personal growth and academic success.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
