This is a wonderful opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to a diverse range of projects across the hydrogeology and contaminated land fields. They are actively searching for an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Hydrogeologist who is willing to take on a challenging array of projects within the sector, based in the scenic, historical town of Shrewsbury.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:
*Leading projects and tasks from initial inception through to successful delivery, heading-up an established team of colleagues
*Managing client and stakeholder relations
*Providing specialist hydrogeological support to water and environment projects
*Producing conceptual site models, data sets, numerical models, and risk assessments
*Preparing and reviewing technical documents prior to submission
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:
*A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Hydrology, Geology, Civil Engineering, etc.)
*Extensive experience of working in a hydrogeological role, within a UK consultancy setting
*Field experience, including drilling, soil collection, groundwater and surface water monitoring, aquifer testing, etc.
*Demonstrable experience of leading a team, mentoring colleagues, and delegating workloads
*Hold Chartered Status with a relevant professional body
*Possess a full, valid UK driving licence
*Experience of identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:
*A Master’s or Higher Degree
*Ability to work as part of a cohesive team, as well as on your own initiative
