Job Title: Junior Account Handler
Salary: £22,000
Location: Essex
PURPOSE OF ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Account Handler to work for a Lloyd’s Broker and join a friendly and supportive insurance team in their Essex office. Working closely with the Account Handlers, you’ll assist with them with handling a portfolio of clients covering a range of commercial risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Support the team with administration and handling of the Theatre Scheme.
*Process documentation and data accurately using Acturis.
*Assist with renewals, mid-term adjustments, and general policy servicing.
*Handle a range of Commercial risks including Property and Liability.
*Liaise with clients and insurers to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
*Provide support to account handlers and management where required.
DAY-TO-DAY
*Working closely with the team on delegated authority business.
*Maintaining client records and correspondence.
*Preparing policy documents and updating files.
*Managing time effectively in a busy, collaborative environment.
SKILLS
*3 A-Levels with minimum C grades.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
*Confident, proactive, and eager to learn.
*Must be able to drive - free on-site parking provided.
