This is a dynamic and innovative engineering business based in the City of London. Using their cutting-edge solutions, they focus on enhancing sustainability, improving efficiency, and reducing environmental impact through the use of advanced technology.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a part-qualified Management Accountant to join the department on a full-time basis.
Role
The Management Accountant for this engineering business based in the City of London, will assist with the management accounts preparation across all international entities, working closely with the Financial Controller. They will take on a number of key duties including:
*Assist with group consolidation and management accounts preparation.
*Oversee purchase ledger processes including associated accruals & prepayments.
*Monitor cash balances across group, and manage treasury deposits.
*Manage payment runs and supplier approvals.
*Handle VAT and indirect taxes in UK and other international entities.
*Post month-end journals and reconciliations.
*Support the year-end processes and liaise with auditors on any queries.
*Generate and analyse any financial reports through internal systems.
*Regularly assist with any system / process improvements across wider business.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Management Accountant position, should have the following attributes:
*Ideally 3+ years of experience within a similar capacity supporting management accounts.
*Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
*Practical experience with multi-entity/currency accounts.
*Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
*Prior experience working within the engineering industry or similar (project-based) is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
