Job Description:
Salary: £40,000 (plus £7k car allowance.)
Joining a small UK SHEQ team of three, you’ll take the lead on health, safety, environmental and quality matters across major marine construction projects nationwide. The company is part of a successful international group and works with leading Principal Contractors including Atkins, Costain and Balfour Beatty.
You’ll have real ownership of your workload, supporting multiple sites and ensuring projects are delivered safely, sustainably and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities for the HSE Role
*Act as the main SHEQ contact for assigned projects.
*Provide practical guidance and support on all SHEQ matters.
*Prepare and maintain project SHEQ documentation for bids and delivery.
*Support project setup to ensure compliance from the outset.
*Take part in incident investigations and continuous improvement actions.
*Spend time on site, working closely with project teams and contractors.
The Ideal Candidate for this Health, Safety, and Environmental Role.
*NEBOSH qualified, with experience in ISO management systems.
*Strong background in HSEQ, ideally within construction or civil engineering.
*Confident working independently and managing varied workloads.
*Good communicator who builds trust with colleagues and clients.
*Happy to travel to sites across the UK.
