1:1 Learning Support Assistant - SEN College - Chelmsford, Essex
Part Time - 3 Days Per Week

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEN College in Chelmsford, Essex.
About the Role: You will work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to help them access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a nurturing educational environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young persons life.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide 1:1 support to a student with SEN, both in and out of the classroom
· Assist with learning activities and emotional regulation
· Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and families
· Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews
Requirements:
· Experience working with young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
· A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
