The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE with £25 per night out allowance
Location: Barnsley, S75.
Job Type: Temporary to permanent.
The Role
*Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.
*Carry out tipper work, including the transportation and tipping of products such as aggregate, topsoil, etc.
*Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
*Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
*Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
*Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes.
*Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.
Requirements:
*Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C)
*2 years experience on Class 2
*Experience on tippers are required
*Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
*No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
*Full understanding of WTD legislation.
*Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
*Excellent communication skills.
