Senior Bookkeeper, Chester - £28,000 - £35,000

Senior Bookkeeper - Key Responsibilities:

Client Bookkeeping
- Handle client bookkeeping to trial balance, ready for accounts production.
- Complete reconciliations and adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns under various VAT schemes.

Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Advise clients on their liabilities and address any queries.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.

Administrative Duties
- Post and scan invoices.
- Complete CIS returns for clients.

Senior Bookkeeper - Experience Required:
- AAT L3/L4 Qualified or QBE.
- Previous management accounts experience (desirable but not essential).
- Proficiency in using Xero software.
- In-depth knowledge of VAT return processes and various schemes.
- Understanding of accounting systems, processes, and all aspects of bookkeeping.
