Paraplanner – Wealth Management
Location: Wilmslow | Salary: Up to £55,000
Our client is a multi-award-winning professional services firm with two highly respected and growing offices across Cheshire. They provide expert, holistic financial planning and investment advice to a wide range of private clients, combining technical excellence with a personal, client-focused approach.
As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their collaborative team. The Role:
As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with Financial Planners and Client Relationship Managers to deliver high-quality, compliant financial planning reports and recommendations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring clients receive tailored, well-researched solutions that help them achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide comprehensive technical support to Financial Planners in the preparation of advice.
*Attend client meetings with the Planner
*Maintain regular communication with clients, managing queries and arranging review meetings.
*Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies tailored to clients’ goals.
*Conduct regular portfolio reviews and ensure any agreed recommendations are implemented promptly.
*Conduct in-depth research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning.
*Prepare detailed, compliant suitability reports and recommendations.
*Utilise FE Analytics, Voyant plus others
*Maintain accurate client records and ensure all advice adheres to FCA and company standards.
*Keep up to date with legislative, technical, and market changes to support the delivery of high-quality advice.
About You:
*Previous experience as a Paraplanner within a financial planning or wealth management environment.
*Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and tax-efficient solutions.
*Diploma-qualified (DipPFS) is essential.
