We’re seeking a Finance Manager to join the UK subsidiary of a private equity-backed US media company Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll be the key finance contact for the UK business overseeing reporting, compliance, audit, and providing commercial insight to drive performance. This role will be ideal for a candidate with 1-2 years PQE from an auditing background with some time in industry. This company offers hybrid working (3 days in the office) and 2 days working from home.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead preparation of monthly management accounts and Group reporting.
*Partner with department heads on budget reviews and performance analysis.
*Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements.
*Manage UK statutory accounts, audit, and tax compliance.
*Oversee cash flow management and liaise with Group Finance on reporting and projects.
About you:
*Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1-2 years’ PQE.
*Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment.
*Strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams.
