About the Role: As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide personalised support for a pupil with additional needs. You’ll help them access the curriculum, develop social and communication skills, and build confidence in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs.

* Assist with learning activities, targeted interventions, and classroom engagement.

* Encourage independence, focus, and positive behaviour.

* Support emotional regulation and social interaction.

* Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals.

* Follow safeguarding and inclusion policies to ensure pupil well-being.

Requirements: * Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

* Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 capacity.

* Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
