Job Description:
Are you a commercially minded procurement professional with a passion for driving value and improving service delivery? We’re looking for two proactive and strategic Procurement and Contracts Managers to lead on key procurement activities and manage major contracts for London Fire Brigade. One role will focus on the professional services and the other for front-line category. The roles are for an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of further extensions.
Location: Southwark – Hybrid work (two days in the office and three days from home)
Pay rate: £382.66 per day via PAYE or £500 per day via Umbrella (Inside of IR35)
About the Role
In this dynamic and impactful role, you’ll:
*Monitor and review existing contracts to enhance service quality and value for money.
*Engage with stakeholders to understand service needs and ensure contractual arrangements meet expectations.
*Support the development of business cases for new service requirements, including market and supplier research.
*Lead on procurement strategy for assigned categories, aligning commercial models with business needs.
*Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contractual terms and relevant legislation.
*Oversee tendering processes, including drafting and publishing notices, managing pre-qualification, and awarding contracts.
*Maintain clear records of decisions and actions to support transparency and follow-up.

*Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
