Job Title: Food Safety/Employability Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Hemel Hempstead - Centre based

Salary: up to £34,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:
*Must hold solid, occupational competency within Food Safety.
*Must hold a recognised Level 2 qualification in Food Safety, or similar.
*Must be IT Literate.
*Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET - fully funded and supported by employer.
*Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
*Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
*Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
Duties include:
*Deliver Food Safety and Life Skills training to learners based within a classroom environment.
*Promote employability, communication digital literacy, reading and personal development.
*Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
*Undertake inventory checks for tools, equipment and materials.
*Work in partnership with local employers, to source work experience opportunities for learners.
*Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
*Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
*Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
