Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will assume a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance function, managing a small team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust financial control across the business. What will you do as a Finance Manager?
*This senior finance role requires the successful candidate to lead and manage the full financial cycle
*Oversee and manage the daily operations of the finance department
*Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
*Prepare monthly management accounts, detailed financial forecasts, and internal financial reports.
*Support and manage budgeting and financial planning processes.
*Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal financial policies/controls.
*Manage robust month-end and year-end processes, including complex reconciliations and accruals.
*Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders.
*Provide financial analysis and insight to support critical business decision-making.
*Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance financial controls.
What do you need as a Finance Manager?
*Fully qualified accountant (Essential): ACA / ACCA / CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification.
*Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior/supervisory finance role.
*Strong technical accounting knowledge and a deep understanding of financial controls.
*Excellent leadership and team management skills.
*Must be highly organised, detail-oriented, and consistently able to meet deadlines.
*Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
*Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, financial modelling) and proficiency with various financial systems/ERPs.
