Assistant Treasurer – Maternity Cover

About the Role
The Assistant Treasurer will play a key role in supporting the Group Treasurer in managing global treasury operations during a maternity cover. The position involves ensuring effective liquidity, risk management, and funding across the organisation, while contributing to the group’s long-term financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee daily cash and liquidity management across multiple regions
*Manage foreign exchange exposure, interest rate risk, and associated hedging activities
*Support the group’s funding strategy, including debt issuance, refinancing, and bank facilities
*Maintain treasury controls, compliance, and policy adherence across all entities
*Prepare treasury and cash flow reports for the Group Treasurer, CFO, and Board
*Lead improvements in treasury systems, processes, and automation initiatives
*Collaborate with Group Finance, FP&A, Tax, and regional finance teams
About You
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or AMCT (Association of Corporate Treasurers)
*Significant experience in corporate treasury within a multinational or manufacturing environment
*Strong understanding of cash management, debt capital markets, and FX risk management
*Proven stakeholder management and communication skills
*Proactive, analytical, and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced business
*Immediate or short notice
