The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist or Seamstress to join a long-established manufacturer within the medical products sector.
This role would suit someone with proven industrial sewing experience, used to working to high production standards and maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You’ll be part of a small, friendly, and supportive team dedicated to producing high-quality protective garments and equipment used across the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
*Manufacture x-ray protective clothing and shielding for leading medical equipment suppliers.
*Operate a variety of sewing machines, including lockstitch, binding, and zig-zag machines.
*Sew cut parts into completed garments, referencing templates, samples, and work instructions.
*Cut and prepare materials and trims to pattern specifications.
*Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout production runs.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets and uphold company standards.

*Previous experience working with industrial sewing machines in a manufacturing environment.
*Confident working to high production volumes while maintaining attention to detail.
*Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
