Job Description:
Reed are working on behalf of United Utilities for a Mechanical Engineer, to work at their Rivington Waste Water Treatment Works.
Working along side Electrical FSE and Team Leader, you will be required to Provide Mechanical support for the in sourcing team so we are reducing the work being outsourced to contractors.
Location: Penrith Waste Water Treatment Works, Cumbria CA10 2AB
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Contract: 6 month rolling
Hourly rate: £19.94 PAYE-37 hours a week. 1.5 for OT on a Saturday and 2 on a Sunday.
Hours- Monday to Friday
Duties:
you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing and repairs of UU Assets ,
both mobile and static.
Attend reactive breakdowns and repair call outs
To attend assigned jobs, diagnose faults, conduct repairs, and provide detailed findings and resolution.
In addition to this there will be the requirement to carry out general maintenance services
Background
Minimum level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering
12 months plus experience in a mechanical role
A valid UK driving licence
