Financial Accountant – £40,000 to £50,000 – On-site Role – West Yorkshire
A well-established industrial business in West Yorkshire is looking for a proactive and technically strong Financial Accountant to join its close-knit finance team. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to take ownership of core financial processes and contribute to strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage core accounting operations including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and ledger oversight
*Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts
*Ensure compliance with international accounting standards
*Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
*Enhance financial controls and reporting systems
*Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and audit documentation
*Liaise with external auditors and contribute to group reporting processes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
*Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or actively studying
*Strong grasp of IFRS and technical accounting principles
*Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is essential
*Skilled in Excel and familiar with ERP systems
*Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills
*Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*Ambitious and keen to grow within a dynamic finance function
