Elevation Recruitment Group’s Skilled Shop Floor Team is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Leicester. We are currently supporting the business in their search for a Central / Dimensional Inspector on a permanent basis.

Salary: £14.96 + 21% shift allowance (£3.14) = £18.10 per hour
Hours of work: Rotating early, afternoon and nights

Morning Hours
05:45 - 13:45 Monday - Thursday
05:45 - 10:45 Friday

Afternoon Hours
13:45 - 21:45 Monday - Thursday
10:45 - 15:45 Friday

Night Hours
21:45 - 05:45 Monday - Thursday
15:45 - 20:45 Friday
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform first-off inspections to validate machining standards before production continues
*Conduct sample and OPC inspections to ensure compliance with method specifications
*Carry out receipt inspections for subcontracted components
*Complete visual inspections and generate non-conformance reports as needed
*Operate conventional and CMM inspection equipment
*Support airflow inspection tasks and contribute to achieving cell targets
*Maintain adherence to company policies including Health & Safety, SOX, and Code of Conduct
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience in precision engineering and inspection techniques
*Ability to inspect components to tight tolerances
*Strong understanding of engineering drawings and method specs
*Basic computer literacy (Excel); SAP knowledge is a plus
*Experience using CMM and conventional inspection tools
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
*Flexibility to support business needs
