The Opportunity
A well-established law firm based in Cardiff Bay is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its reputable Property team. This is a rare opportunity to take on a manageable, quality-focused caseload within a supportive and specialist environment — not a high-volume or production-line setup.
You’ll be part of a friendly, experienced team led by a highly regarded Head of Department, handling a varied caseload of residential sales and purchases, often linked to Court of Protection and Probate Estate matters. The firm prides itself on its client-centred approach and offers an excellent platform for professional growth.
The Role
*Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion.
*Handling a range of transactions, including matters arising from Court of Protection clients and Probate Estates.
*Liaising directly with clients, third parties, and internal teams — both in person and remotely.
*Ensuring high levels of client care and maintaining excellent communication throughout each transaction.
*Conducting legal research using the firm’s comprehensive in-house facilities.
*Contributing to departmental development with genuine opportunities for progression.

About You
*Experienced Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer – or equivalent experience).
*Confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
*Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client service.
*Interest in or exposure to Court of Protection or Private Client related property work would be beneficial.
