Finance Business Partner (Management Accountant)Location: North Yorkshire
Are you an experienced Management Accountant ready to take on a broader, more commercially focused role? We’re looking for a talented finance professional to join a team as a Finance Business Partner.
In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between finance and operations, helping to translate financial data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision making. You’ll work closely with senior management and business leaders, providing trusted financial guidance to ensure the business achieves it’s goals.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
*Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, working collaboratively with operational teams.
*Provide insightful analysis of performance against targets, highlighting risks and opportunities.
*Act as a trusted finance business partner to business units, supporting decision-making through analysis, modelling, and forecasting.
*Business partner with managers to identify efficiencies and optimise profitability.
*Ensure robust financial controls, compliance with accounting standards, and readiness for audit.
*Communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
About You*Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
*Strong technical grounding in management accounting and financial reporting.
*Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Able to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
*High attention to detail while maintaining a strategic outlook.
*Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
