We are looking for a Financial Controller based in Byfleet
It is a 100% office-based role and we do need someone who has been a financial controller before




The Financial Controller will oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting and finance operations in the UK, of both the sites in Byfleet and Newquay, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and oversee and ensure effective financial management of overseas subsidiaries US, China and Germany to ensure group reporting and all inter-company policies are followed. Will have a deep understanding of the manufacturing and distribution industry, enabling critical and timely reporting on a regular basis to the board and the management team of day-to-day performance. Will report to the UK board and group CEO.


Key responsibilities:
Monthly KPI reporting to include P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow and annual year end reporting
Budgeting and Forecasting, developing and managing the annual budget, financial forecasting, and variance reporting to give critical insight
Cashflow monitoring and reporting on the group level to maximise treasury operations, as trading in Dollar, Euro and Yen.
Communicating with the management team the KPI’s and how to improve performance


Skills required
Strong foundations in financial and accounting skills
Knowledge and Experience of MRP systems -currently utilising Winman in the Uk but specific knowledge of this system is not critical
Experience of Debt and Financial Management
Excellent financial analytical skills for the interpretation of financial data and providing critical insight
Good communication skills in particular with non-financial teams
Attention to Detail

Leadership and Management skills
