Purchasing Manager – Full-Time, Permanent (Onsite: Monday to Friday)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our purchasing team and drive procurement strategies with strong forecasting experience across the business. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is looking for that next step in their career and ready to take on a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small purchasing team, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
Develop and implement procurement strategies
Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Logistics, Factory, Quality Control, Accounts, and R&D to align purchasing with operational needs.
Monitor supplier performance, manage risk, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Stay informed on market trends and sourcing innovations.
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of proven experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
Strong Forecasting experience
Preferred experience in either a raw materials, packaging, manufacturing, or components environment.
Hands-on approach with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
Strong Excel skills and proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office.

This is a full-time, permanent role based onsite Monday to Friday.
