Senior Fixed Asset Accountant ?? Basingstoke /Hybrid

We’re looking for a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to lead the effective delivery of fixed asset accounting processes across a large and complex portfolio for a large, growing organisation.
In this key role, you’ll ensure accurate reporting, strong financial controls and compliance with FRS102 and Housing SORP standards. You’ll also play a vital part in statutory reporting, audit preparation, and improving systems and processes across the finance function.
What you’ll do * Maintain and enhance the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Deliver timely reconciliations, monthly reporting and analysis.
* Support annual statutory accounts and external audits.
* Drive process improvements and contribute to finance transformation projects.
* Act as the subject matter expert on fixed asset policies and controls.
About you You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience in fixed asset accounting - ideally within a housing association or large asset-owning business. You’ll bring a deep understanding of fixed asset controls, excellent Excel skills and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
Experience with Workday, Agresso/SUN or Asset 4000 is an advantage.
