Job Description:
Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a skilled FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy production and distribution site in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to work in a fast-paced environment with long-term potential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging.
*Load and unload deliveries, ensuring safe and accurate handling.
*Support production and warehouse teams with timely movement of stock.
*Conduct routine equipment checks and report any faults.
*Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping.
Requirements:
*Valid external FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
*Previous experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly desirable.
*Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a rotating schedule.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
