Are you seeking a new role working night shift?

We are currently recruiting for a experienced Forklift Driver to join a well established and busy warehousing team based in Bury St Edmunds on their night shift. The successful candidate will be confident working as part of a team to ensure the smooth movement of goods throughout the warehouse and yard areas.

Working hours for this night shift forklift role are Sunday to Thursday 22:00-06:00

Key Responsibilities:

*Safely operate forklifts to move stock, around the warehouse area, on/off the racking
*Load and unload goods from lorries in a safe and efficient manner
*Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage or contamination
*Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working conditions
*Adhere to all health and safety regulations
*Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels
*Assist with general warehouse duties, such as packing, labelling, and cleaning, as required
Qualifications and Skills:
*Valid forklift operator certification/license - Counterbalance
*Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
*Good communication and teamwork skills
