Are you a passionate ICT or Computer Science Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with autism and associated needs?
We’re seeking a dynamic, committed, and innovative educator to join a specialist day school for students aged 11–19. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive environment where creativity, adaptability, and compassion are key.
?? Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons across KS3–KS4, up to GCSE level
*Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with special educational needs (SEN)
*Foster creativity, critical thinking, and digital literacy
*Provide constructive feedback and support student progress
*Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities
*Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including teaching assistants and therapists
? What We’re Looking For:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching ICT/Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
*Strong classroom management and a flexible, student-centred approach
*A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement
*Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Leadership experience in curriculum development is a plus
