School Premises Manager - SEN School (Enfield) Location: Enfield, North London
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 7:45am - 3:45pm, 52 weeks per year
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
Remedy Education is working closely with a fantastic SEN school in Enfield who are looking for a reliable and experienced Premises Manager to join their team.
This is a key position within the school, ensuring the site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained all year round. The ideal candidate will have strong practical and organisational skills and experience managing school facilities or a similar site.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Overseeing the maintenance, safety, and security of the school site
* Managing and supporting caretaking and cleaning staff
* Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently
* Conducting regular checks on heating, lighting, and alarm systems
* Ensuring the site is compliant with all health and safety regulations
* Managing access to the site and holding keyholder responsibility
* Maintaining school grounds and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for staff and pupils
* Supporting the school with operational logistics as needed
About You:
* Previous experience as a Premises or Site Manager (school experience preferred)
* Knowledge of health and safety and building compliance requirements
* Practical maintenance skills and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities
* A flexible and proactive attitude
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
